Number of Beta Slots Remaining?

Egad!

I am, to put it mildly, <i>extremely</i> excited about playing NS2. Although I'm relatively new to the forums, I have been following NS2's development on the NS2HD YouTube channel for the past few months. I very much would like to join the Beta to help contribute to the development of NS2, but alas I have no money to purchase it, and won't for several months. So I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea of how many Beta slots were still available, so I'll know if I'll be able to purchase the game in time.
