I think it would be a good addition to the game if when you click to shot it defaultly stops you from sprinting and let's you fire. Instead of having to release sprint befor being able to fire. Just a idea =]

I have heard a lot of stories of people who are attacked by dogs. None of those stories have ever mentioned the victim was frantically jumping up and down to avoid the dog’s jaws.

In real life the dogs don't have a fixed neck so they can move around in-bite, so either jumping or jetpacking would be the best solution actually...
