Even though I discovered NS only a few years ago, it's been a huge amount of fun. Thanks for bringing us such an amazing game UWE, and keep up the great work on its sequel!
Oh, and the box is really the best present when you think of it as a MODEL COMMAND CHAIR
oh my its halloween! Happy 9th birthday ns and thanks for all the amazing experiences! I'm struggling to think of any other game that after 9 years hasn't grown stale. Kudos!

And I thought commanding for an hour was exhausting... that's just masochistic!
Still my most played game ever even though I don't play it too much anymore. So many fun games.

Pff 3h longest session was 5h. We couldn't get the Marines out of Biodome. That was the longes round I ever played 20years of gaming.
I'm already thinking of what ns1's 10th will be like. Who knows though?
Happy Birthday NS1. More hours invested into NS1 than any other game combined. 9000+ more years.
Maybe UWE will still exist. They'll be creating real aliens and replacing their brains with computers. Cloning blank symbiotic bodies that can be accessed through a personal VR computer at home. Maps would be real space stations. The gaming industry is what humanity turns to in

NS is amazing and one of the games which developed my intense love for the videogame industry. There's more soul, energy, effort and nanites in the NS developers than any other game developer I know. Kudos and thanks for all the good times.

Probably correct, once NS2 gets released you'll probably have a lot of the rest convert over, or stop playing by then.
NS2 will have a much larger playerbase once it's closer to completion and more PR work is done.
