    How about a simple game timer?

    Admin can set the game time, when no time is left, side with most level control wins the game.

    In NS1 it was a lot of fun that alien could win a game with building in the tunnel 3 def chambers while gorgy just stood hidden:) 10 minute cat and mouse!

    I view marine turtles resulting from two core sources:
    1. All marines are (de facto) defending marine start because they simply can't get out
    2. Alien anti-structure damage rate << marine structure repair rate

    I don't see much that you can do for solving the first issue that wouldn't lead to other big, undesirable problems (such as gimping beacon or increasing marine spawn time). In essence, you'd have to make marine spawning or marine defense weaker which would be problematic.

    The second issue is where I think this could be solved. In particular, my preferred solution is to greatly increase bilebomb damage such that it only takes 3-4 shots to kill a sentry. However, you could also nerf MAC structure repair rate or only allow one MAC to repair a structure at a time.
