Haha, I knew it! The walking dead is pretty fun, but seriously needs some more brains in the main characters though, sometimes they are intentionally stupid to make it scary :( (what do you mean off-topic!). This will most likely get modded once NS2 has gone gold... It's probably inevitable :P
We must be fair and make Kharaa zombies as well; just imagine the Gorge zombified, it'd still be too dam cute to hurt. Maybe a team of Fades working together to take out a zombie Onos would be cool too.
OT, Walking Dead S2 was slow but the mid-season finale was gold. Can't give anything away, just catch up and watch it.
In terms of Zombies, I was under the impression the Kharaa were already a "zombie" of sort. Aka, they were once different creatures that were taken over by bacteria infestation and sort of assimilated into a species. I think just having tons of Marines as Zombies against an objective or survival fortress based mode would be pretty sweet. Perhaps both Marine and Kharaa zombies on the same squad, but I feel the Kharaa as Zombies would be pretty boring as it would be little different than just Kharaa bots and similar to combat mode.
Oh and what would be cooler than an Exosuit Zombie? Can't think of much. (Zombies are too dumb to know how to use JPs)

A mixture of ns combat and noxious zombie survival would be cool. 20 minute match timer. 25% of players start as aliens.
Marines have the experience system like ns1 combat mode. To buy personal upgrades and weapons, also being able to drop structures and turrets if enough points.
Aliens get a point for each kill they make. For upgrades and evolutions. The points are refunded if killed.
And if a marine dies they join the alien team as a skulk.

Anyway, i guess about that too, but before TWD, the problem is, converting the marine models, because i guess the developer of UWE will not share their marine model with us.
Some ideas for a zombie mode:
Idea 1: - Just adding zombie bots which are now shown in the score. - Creating a ship map, landed on a planet(mars?). - adding a survival timer - adding food and sleep - marines need food, if the food bar is 0 they will lose like 1 health every 5 seconds. also with sleep, if a marine don't sleep (right click on a bed, the marine become a animation where he goes into bed, the player see that in third person) he get black fade outs and can't see, also can't walk, after 10 seconds he awake and has 1 minute to find a bed. - if the generator destroyed (by zombies) the lights turn off - snack automatcs, pressing use will give the player a item (like armory buying weapons) and he can use it with first person animation, this fills the food bar. - ressources are made outside the station with a miner gun, just "attack" special rocks outside the ship to gain ressources for the team and yourself. - zombies are randomly spawned and have diffrent classes like in l4d2. Zombie types: - slow but big, takes a lot of damage, if explodes he releases spores which infect players, so its very very important to kill that zombie outside the ship - fast and skinny, very fast, very weak. - tank, this zombie is...you guessed it, like from left 4 dead
Due to the Kharaa being single celled organisms that infect other species, I always wondered if the Kharaa would ever infect the occupants of whatever compound, facility or ship they would invade, into zombie-like beings. Could be a cool way of explaining what happens to the occupants of a map before the Frontiersmen arrive.

We must be fair and make Kharaa zombies as well; just imagine the Gorge zombified, it'd still be too dam cute to hurt. Maybe a team of Fades working together to take out a zombie Onos would be cool too.
P.S. I watched WD season 1 and liked it. Starting season 2 the characters/writers got too stupid for me to care about, so I stopped watching.
