Why Doest It Say That It Cant Locate My .bsp

Hi all, well u see its just i tiny problem i have got now, i will strat from the begining, i installed my new Win XP this morning and have finaly reinstalled hl, ns, etc and hammer. I load my map, but while im runing it, its says in the pop up window "cant locate "mapname".bsp. This has never happend before, and i cant seem to get it fixed, i need some serius help, and quick. If this has happend to any one before and they know how to solw it plz help me, and a nother thing is that if i choose to coninue in the run window when im loading my map its gives me this error. Couldnt locate "mapname" on server. I would realy apriciet any help i could get.

Did you use the desktop shortcut to start NS? If you did, use the one in your start menu.

maybe that's the problem.. using the shortcut starts the NS but there's not the maps, I have always to launch some other mod and change it to NS like that.

Thxs for ur replys, i have the same problem with my NS i have to initiate HL and then activate NS, but thats not such a pain in the ***. My problem lies in that when i build a map with hammer i can run it. Cus it says that it cant locate the maps bsp file, and if i i tell it to procede any way, then it say that it cant locate my map on the server 8in this case the server would be the my cpu, since im only running the map via Hammer)

Make sure your .BSP file is in your Half-Life/ns/maps folder
or your half-Life/valve/maps folder.
