Marine Structure: Energy-Shield

There would be a very small structure that generates a small shield-piece. The commander could rotate the direction of the shield.

Players (or just Aliens ?) could not pass the shield. After an upgrade (?), Fades could also not move through it in blink-phase.

Maybe the darts of the Lerks could still go through it? Marines could fire through it? And Grenades? And Bile-bombs?

I really don't see what this adds to gameplay, other than making already-quite-tough marine bases even more geared to long sieges.

NO! This would just make it impossible to play as Onos once its released.

All i see is corridors all shielded up with turretspam behind it, and marines really dont need more incentive to turtle.
