<div class="IPBDescription">keep retrying</div> when i try to connect to a server it just stands and retries 4 times then it stops.

i tried to reinstall every thing, didnt help.

small update on this, i tried to connect to TF servers same problem.

The wierd thing is that is work before i went to bed last night and when i woke up and tried to connect to a server is just stands there and retries 4 time.

a friend of mine just tested it with CS on his computer and it worked fine, so the problem is on this computer <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Is your computer connected to the internet through any kind of LAN or proxy? Or do you have a firewall on your computer or a distributor you're connected to? Anything of that sort could cause that problem.

yes i'm connecting through my router, but nothing have changed sins yesterday and my friend is also connecting through the lan/router

and i disabled all avs and firewall


*** Can we all get a WOOHOO *** i got it working again, diconnected all computer, restarted the router connected my computer and the game conneced like a charm!

Yeh, using any kind of firewall proggie usually makes block access by the WON servers. I used BlackICE and ZoneAlarm on multiple PCs, and of the 2, ZoneAlarm always messed with gaming online, even after uninstalling it and removing all traces from the registry. Eventually just f-disked and that fixed that thing... dunna like ZoneAlarm, must be offspring of Microshaft... <!--emo&::siege::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/siege.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='siege.gif'><!--endemo-->
