Alien Infestation / Marine Power-Node Thing

<div class="IPBDescription">I really don't know how this could possibly effect the gameplay</div>So, very often I see that a game gets stuck because of whip spamming or turret spamming, etc.
Maybe this could be solved by having infestation or power-nodes getting "weaker" the more structures are build that are supported by the cyst or power-node in question.
Possibly differnet kind of structures would weaken the cyst/power-node by a certain percentage. This way an area with a lot of turrets could more easily be taken out by just destroying the power-node. Now a lot of aliens could kamikaze-destory the power-node.

The real problem is that, in late game both teams have all the upgrades, all there is left is spamming defence.
This will partly be solved as more upgrades/researches get implemented into the game.
Also, whips are rather overpowered at the moment, due to the recent changes; hp increase, whacking grenades and movement speed.
Their hp should get reduced again, now that they can't take damage from grenades.
As for the turret problem, the best way to break turrets at the moment is the gorges bilebomb ability, but it's not too effective, needs a buff.
It's already possible to overcome these things with a bit of team effort.
Seeing you post all these suggestions with bad solutions leads me to think you need to play more.
No offense, but it doesn't seem like you have too much insight in the game.
