I fail to see how it would not work for NS2, it worked in NS1. You need a gorge to help push cysts to harvesters, but I think that is just fine for now at least.

I just wanted to say congratulations of the 200+ downloads of v02! It have also been very popular on the gathers(even though some dislike the grey (white?!)walls ;D). Thank you Remedy.

It's funny, or maybe it's just because I'm tired, but before NS <b>2.0</b>, MS in eclipse used to have doors on both entrances, so that should really be '1.04-ize' it.
Hey guys I'm working several sections at this time so nothing completely finished to show at this point, but I'll try make you guys not wait to long :)
As for doors I won't be adding any at this point, though summit when first released was much different from how it is now so you never know.

But door also can save your ass. F.e. If a onos hunts you, just close the door for some sec, so he can't catch you, or even better trap em by closing the door if he wants to flee.

Doors are pure evil, hinders fluid game play and pisses most people off.
OMG those new screens are amazing... top notch job. Eclipse was always my favorite level in NS1. Really looking forward to this. I hope it becomes an official map.

Would love to know also why you placed certain power nodes where. Some seem excessive at first glance but i am sure if it has been run through the NS gather grinder things have been flushed out and decided on for a reason.
If auto-downloading is put in, it matters not one whit. Though if Remedy doesn't mind, it'd be pretty silly not to, the quality shown thus far is excellent.

anyone wondering which map to remake next.. putting in my vote for NS_Hera. i'd imagine a lot of it would need scaling up though because it had some pretty tight areas even in NS.

The door to messhall on ns_nancy in ns 1.04 would close no matter what and kill anything that got in the way. I killed an onos with that door once. He was not happy.

I works very well with NS2.
I fail to see how it would not work for NS2, it worked in NS1.

It does feel like a big concrete bunker now though, kinda bland.
