I like the dirty Alien franchise inspired maps, but I also like the clean, but heavy metal textures from later NS1 releases that really set up a sci-fi universe of it's own. Very faithful recreation of my favorite and stunning visuals here. You can feel the energy going through those power glowing power lines. I wonder if aliens can turn those down or if they will glow in the dark when the power nodes are broken.
which ns1 map was it with the weldable vent in the marine start? been trying to find out which 1 it was.
had a run through eclipse ns1 version, i dont really orientate myself well with the screens of the eclipse remake and the original locations, some things stand out but most of it i dont recognise.

But i CAnt... the curves. the windows the generator lines.... any1 know how?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Probably:
1. Welding circle segments in with his edges 2. Extruding the surface 3. Scaling the extruded surface
Which is pretty much the same way that the curves in Tram's tunnels were made.
A youtube tutorial was posted at some point, but I have no idea where it is.
downloaded an old version of this map and had a walk around, really like the style, its very clean and basic in its design, but has some understated yet impressive architecture. After walking the corridors of the eariler version i now see caged perfectly.
Thanks for all the kind remarks everyone! I've been busy lately and there currently is a bug that makes eclipse crash at this point, but hopefully if there is enough hype for this map to be finished then this bug will get some priority to be fixed. Thanks once again everyone.

Wow, love how cc turns out in spark! You should try out the new edge smooth function in the editor though, maybe the walls will look even smoother, they look a little faceted right now. Its just a detail, but you should test how it will look!
The turquoise lighting and texture is brilliant, it brings back the nostalgia!

Hope you're well Remedy haven't seen you in ages.
Keep up the spectacular work buddy.
You have much more patience with curves than I have!
They really need to get to work on smoothing groups.
Makes me feel nostalgic
