Game Fails to Load

in NS2 General Discussion
I have tried searching around but a few of the words I am searching for are not allowed.

When I go to run NS2 it just says "Preparing to launch Natural Selection 2"

It never goes past this..But it hasnt done it in the past. Anyone else have this similar issue?

    Try verifying you game cache in steam, chances are something didnt fully download.

    Yea, I verified the steamcache.. it is good.. but the game still will not load =/

    Odd, ive seen some people have ns2 crash on loading, but it will normally at least start to load.

    Can you check if you have a folder called Natural Selection 2 in your %appdata% folder? If so there should be a .log file there that might contain an error that says why it didnt load.
    Also it might help to post your system specs too.

    Also try deleting and re-downloading. I had that happen once where it verified fine, but was still bad.
