Expanding infestation over time

Along with the lifetime of the cyst/hive the radius of his infestation + the range of where it supports the cyst-chain is expanding.

I wonder why this isn't implented yet?
Does it have anything to do with performance or visuals or waiting for the "real" infestation-system?
IMO this would alone be a great visual effect, and help fortify the alien bases over time.

There's only so much they can work on at the same time. It's a small team.

The cyst chain needs to be guided in its growing.

Otherwise it becomes a bush...always trimmed never growing quite right.

Is your goal to lessen clicking to create cysts?
eliminate clicking??
