Help Connect To Internet Game

When I try to connect to an internet game, it will not find a list. I can find a list for DOD, or CTS, but not NS. It just says that it is recieving list from...... and then it never goes into the little gray countdown screen. Then every once and a while it will find a list, but it will find a list of about 29000 and takes about 12 minutes to form the list. I have the filter set the same as CTS, and DOD, yet for this mod I cannot get a list. I have a LAN connection. What should I try? Please don't tell me to get gamespy or something else, I would prefer to get the mod working correctly. Thank you for any help you can give me.

NS is working correctly, but HL always downloads information about every HL server online, including ones for CS, DoD, and other Mods. As far as I know the best you can do is to scroll through the list of 28k+ servers to find the ones that are NS_. There's nothing wrong with using Gamespy Arcade, ASE, or any of the other server finding apps, they work just great.

You aren't by an chance, launching the game from the original desktop shortcut are you?
If not, try adding an NS server to your favorites, then filter on Favorites and NS and see if it shows up.
