Things that seem so simple like knocking structures over and stuff actually take a lot of time to develop. First you've got to code in the ability, then make tons of models and do the rigging, etc. It'd be a pretty pain-staking event to witness. Currently the mappers didn't always keep into account of where the Onos could/couldn't fit. Some places are purposely like that to cause choke points, and some places just generally need work. The best thing you can do for now is post some screenshots of areas you think should change and why. As far as the Onos collision goes, I'm not really sure what they're going to do to fix that -- remove it, change it... no clue for now.

The animations were moved over to a new graph based system previously. There are still a few bugs or missing hooks for stuff like turning, etc. It is being worked on and improves all the time.

My gripe is the lack of turning animations, and animations in general. Marines do seem to glide a bit across the ground, as do aliens.
Onos is particularly evident when it turns though.
