Map Layout, Or... Layout Jam

<div class="IPBDescription">This topic is boring.</div> I have a plan for a map, which I want peoples advice on so I can weld it into some kind of logical, coherent, fairly planned map, that provides individual and exciting gameplay everytime. The opposite of what I have now then. Because of the mass of crap I had to type to explain it, I just make a page for it:

Uh, I'm also still having this problem with particle systems.

    I count only 2 res nozzles easily reached by the marines. With nozzles this scarce, this map just might be a constant res fight in one of those two areas. Throw in a few more res spots to even the map out.

    Supposing the nozzle south of the left most hive was moved down to the room south of the marine start, how would that seem?
