Can someone explain the general process of getting costum models/props and textures into the NS2 engine?
I am working with a few cgi related programs myself, and I would like to work on some just as practice.
But I never created this stuff for any kind of game engine, so I do not know what is necessary to do to make it usable for a mapper. Baking models and textures, using alphamaps, specular maps, normal maps, collision models, etc.
Here is to hoping that this stuff is not complicated as %&§(.
Also I would like to collaborate with a mapper who may is working on a a map laylout to create some new model sets, so that all the maps will not look the same. And to bring some story into the maps.
Greetings

When you're ready I'd love to get a carcass or skeleton model of any or all the alien lifeforms.
As I'd like to have an alien graveyard in my map.
I also think plenty of other mappers would like them as show pieces, They could suspended them in vat tanks or laying them on slab in an autopsy room or a died in a cage. One wedged under a tram or crushed under a crate so many reasons to have these models.
What ever happens good luck with it. I'm sure there are plenty of talented people here who will get you started in the right direction.
