<div class="IPBDescription">Steam is down? NS2 LAN mode don't works</div>Steam has no connection, people tell me they have problems with Teamspeak.
Whats going on out there?
I can't even create a OFFLINE Lan server with NS2, the game always try to authenticate but it can't.

Take a look at Steam statistics:

With Gabes recent comments on the attack they had last year, it wouldn't surprise me if the attackers were trying again :0

It's really annoying, I can't work on my mod, because I can't test the changes I've made and I can't play any games that connect through steam community :p

But if its the hacker, i don't think so, i mean teamspeak is down and have problems too.
Maybe other plattforms but i only use steam.

It's not just steam, or Valve, half of the NA internet is down: <a href="http://www.internettrafficreport.com/namerica.htm" target="_blank">http://www.internettrafficreport.com/namerica.htm</a>

Apparently it's a power outage. The got the store part back online after 80 mins, the community is still waiting. Didn't something similar happen in storms this time last year too? Or was it a couple of years ago?

I told the ghostbusters don't use the way straight down to the Van Horne Tunnel...there are the power cables.

according to the index page linked above this is something bigger than a storm.
seemingly random routers from canada to texas are not responding!

    <a href="http://www.internettrafficreport.com/asia.htm" target="_blank">http://www.internettrafficreport.com/asia.htm</a>
even asia is hit. Is this the cyber war the doomsayers predicted?

UK is not doing too well, including my town of birth:

    <a href="http://www.internettrafficreport.com/europe.htm" target="_blank">http://www.internettrafficreport.com/europe.htm</a>

Fortunately here in Amsterdam it's holding up well :)

    Interesting...

Europe and Asia have 58% routers up, North America has 56%

Big worldwide carrier gone down perhaps?

Steam now working ok it seems :)
