<div class="IPBDescription">At least the skybox looks pretty!</div>Hi there, I'm a brand new NS2 recruit! I'd love to jump in and play the game, but unfortunately I'm having a severe graphics issue:

<b>My computer specs:</b>
Intel Core i7 @3.5GHz
AMD Radeon 4870 1GB (Catalyst 12.1)
6GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
DirectX 11

Does anyone have any tips as to how I might fix this?

    I have no idea how to solve it but since nobody else is posting... someone has to do it, right?
    -Try another driver. The older one a newer one (the pre-cert).
    -check your game files (right click NS2 in steam-> properties ->local files-> verify integrity of the game cache)
    -try what max said: <!--quoteo(post=1904414:date=Feb 18 2012, 02:15 AM:name=Max)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Max @ Feb 18 2012, 02:15 AM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=1904414"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Try running: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\redist\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Bingo indeed - that fixed it! :)
