Initial thoughts, for "funzies"!

<div class="IPBDescription">Been playing for 3 days so far....</div>First of all I am blown away, the game is everything I remember it and what makes me really excited - It's not even done yet! Some of the best times where on NS1.

I do feel that perhaps some things could be changed, so for your careful consideration:

1. Bring back electrify, for RT's and power nodes. You folks would best know how to balance and implement it. I have commed a few times now and dispite my squad being amazing at communicating and trying to work as a team, the aliens can take down any forward RT without trouble. Turrets are an option, but not really a good idea, at least for early game.

2. A bit better movement interpolation/smoothing. The netcode is good best I can tell. but I do notice on all servers, stuttering on any fast moving player. Skulks, lurks, marines with jetpacks all sort of do the same thing as the fade did in NS1. Rather than being a new position for the models on every frame, I notice they sort of teleport, again much like the affect one saw playing NS1 with blinking fades.

3. Fades are awesome! First thing out of the gate was 56/12 my first fade game against some clan folks.. I didn't die until I got too cocky. A fade against a group requires some caution and technique. But I am fairly certain the new blink should be slowed down perhaps? I have enough energy to go into the middle of a room, totally out of their line of sight, swing 2-4 times.. kill some poor guy, and blink totally out again, with energy to spare. If a good fade doesn't want to die and get kills, I don't see how you can stop them. Any kill I've had on a fade is simply because they messed up, got greedy to try and kill someone, and didn't get out. Flat out suck at aiming and I hatchet their face, or get stuck between a ton of marines in a small hallway. All things even a newbie such as myself have figured out already to avoid.

4. Tonight we played 3 games in a row with the hive and marine start right next to each other, random spawning locations is good, but It should be stipulated that each starting base be X far away. the games where over in minutes due to skulk rush, or marine egg camping.

Thanks again. I thought this mod was dead until last thursday. Turns out you guys just went and did it bigger and better! I AM SO EXCITED! Please keep on doing what you're doing. I've gotten you 3 preorders so far, more to come too. I hope we can make you guys big enough for NS3!
