Can't use collada with 3ds max 2012 x64 and can't compile models.

Hello,

I was trying to get a grasp for the basic workflow for importing custom assets. My first issue was that the collada plugin included with ns2 will not install on max 2012.

I downloaded and installed the opencollada plugin and it worked ok...but this brings me to the next issue, which im not sure if its related to the plugin.

When I try to compile a model, builder pop ups a red message stating that it couldn't open "compilemodel.exe"...

Any work arounds? am I doing anything wrong?
