Or you could try to actively play in a more relaxed position: Use a relaxed finger-tip grip with high sensitivity, and you should be able to keep your mouse arm pretty relaxed. I don't see why you would need a painful claw for the keyboard controls - I don't - but if necessary, try remapping them so your hand can rest on the keyboard more relaxed.

I play lerk competitively, and I know what he means by the uncomfortable keyboard hand grip. In order to have easy access to push to talk, map and fly, as well as the movement keys, I find a weird claw is needed that I find quite uncomfortable in long comp games. It's less of a problem for pubbing because things aren't so intense!

I agree with @Roobubba up to a certain point, but nothing stops you from rebinding your keys to make it more comfortable. my left hand (keyboard) uses movement keys (WASD), map (C), shift for chilling on walls and ceilings and spiking (SPACE). using RMB for flap and the thumb button for Push to talk is quite relaxing for me (of course LMB to bite/umbra and Q to switch between them).
