Two bugs

First of all: I'd like to use your Feedback-Function, but I'm not willing to register at any of those companies like twitter, facebook, whatever. So I'll post 2 bugs here:

-When buying a welder at the armory shortly after buying a main weapon, the main weapon will be dropped and switched to LMG again. Sometimes the weapon (SG for example) will be dropped under the armory, so it is lost.

-Trying to drop a phasegate right at a small step will refuse pointing the phasegate in the direction of the step. Maybe it is intentional, because people should not fall into a huge gap? Well, it's unnesessary if the step is only 10 cm high (like in crevice on summit). Maybe it isn't the reason for the bug, but sometimes the phasegate won't turn around in a complete open area, that feels weird and restriced.

Sorry for using the forums, but I decided to give UWE money for playing and testing the game and not to give other companies money for that. Mabe there's a chance of reporting somehow else?........in-game....? ;)

Has been fixed for the next build, <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/progress" target="_blank">progress page</a>:"[194]You pickup your old weapon when using the armory twice (building as well)"

Having to register to report bugs is most annoying.

I've got another, when a MAC is selected, the Marine Comm can't place an object untill the MAC moves to the desired location. So if there are Marines waiting, one has to delect the MAC by, say, clicking on a phase or CC, then build, then move the MAC to the location to support the already building marines.

Also, after alien players (and I'd assume Marine JPs) move a certain distance out into Crevice on Summit map, they become un-renderable... kinda like the distance view fade in Fallout 3 or what have you.

Hm...so I am not the only one who doesn't want to register at social-stuff for a computer game.

May we have another function to report bugs? Or should we use the forums? Please tell us how we can help you without exacerbating forum mods. I find a lot of bugs and I am ok in describing them, so a few brains of your players are wasted this way ;)

you can submit bugs without registering, somehow in steam while ingame, there should be this note about what you have to press.

what if you want to build something at the front line and dont want it to be damaged/destroyed before the MAC(s) arrive? there might be no marines around... this seems more like a design-choice than a bug.

This isn't actually a bug. If you have a MAC selected and you try to place a structure you are telling the MAC to build that object. MACs respond to those orders by moving to the area first and then laying down the structure. This is intentional and a good thing. All you have to do is unselect the MAC in order to go back to "free-drop" mode for structures. If you press "1" you will select your comm chair, unselecting the MAC and solving this problem.

My guess is that UWE designed the MACs like that so that marines wouldn't waste tres by dropping something halfway across the map only to have a skulk chew it up before the MAC got there.

That's what I tried, but there you can write your bug report, click on send, then it shows you other bugs that had be found to check if it was reported (nice idea) and then it wants you to log in before it is send to UWE.
