Where did they go?
I can't search for "map" or "old" on the search, so sorry if this has been asked before.

When the beta first began, I remember there being two maps, both with some lockable doors. This was during the time when marines were MADLY overpowered and sentries were automatically game over. By the way, sentries suck so bad now I rarely place them unless i'm spilling over with resources. Will we see the old NS1 style sentries return? Relatively low damage, but was omni-directional and quick. I liked the NS1 style where you had to bind them to those sentry buildings (I can't remember if they too were robolabs), and it worked well when you could only place a few per building...

Anyways, what happened to those early beta maps?

I can't recall its name, but there was the one for the Engine Test but without the target dummies. Rockdown is still here, but will probably be phased out once more official maps get implemented.

We removed rockdown and junction because the weren't really designed for NS2 style gameplay (they were just tests).

I checked rockdown today, and it's not a map that I remember.

Junction was probably one of them, that sounds very familiar.

junction was tiny. i think rockdown could be altered to be playable.

Regardless of Rockdown being considered as an official map or not, it has been changed a lot. I am sure old Rockdown is the map that you wanna find.

I know rockdown kind of sucked, but I liked the look and style of it. Sucks that so much time to make it will go to waste.

Honestly when 32 player servers become more stable, I want to play a full game on Junction.

    Just imagine the Fun!
