Hello, every time I enter a game it lags, I have like 20fps on lowest settings.

Ram : 4GB
Video : ATI radeo HD 4600 Series
Processor : Intel Duo core 3GHzx3GHz

I don't think I have such bad PC for lowest setting.

Any solutions ? I disabled shadows , didn't help :(

I'm not totally sure but I think this is normal, ns2 is very heavy right now.

Make sure you play on a good server, choose the lowest ping ones, and type net_stats 1 in the console, the server tickrate should be 30.

    Hi,

the video settings dont have a big influence right now.
    also try:
    r_shadows 0
    r_atmospherics 0
    r_bloom 0
    r_fog 0

You are right, that your PC is not that bad. The game has improved a lot during development and I am very keen that it will continue to do so until it will be relseased. Remember: It is still not finished and it is a very small team that is working on the game.

As mentioned, when playing on servers, it's important to find out the tick rate of the server. By typing net_stats into console you can see the performance of your machine and of the server. Most issues at the moment come from the server, although there does seem to be the odd AMD gpu error mentioned around the forums, so check drivers etc.

Agreed - any server with less than say 30 ticks per second is pretty nuts for me. If its a stable server i get around 60-80fps on my GTX 570 SC with i5 2500k and 8gb RAM.
