It makes it so easy that you can spam jump again aka bindings and scripts, thats a reason I liked the 0.25s delay. But it's still not finaly and I wonder with what a solution you come up Schimmel.

I've played around with it in a local server and it seems to be getting there imo. My 2 criticisms is currently it feels like the wall stickiness prevents you from getting the speed boost sometimes, and also the speed boost seems to be in any direction (rather than boosting your speed along your current line of sight, or just increasing forward speed only) this causes you to be able to strafe very quickly back and forth after a speed boost. It feels quite strange since all of sudden your A and D keys start to move you much more than usual.
