    Use the server list from <a href="http://www.play4dead.com/ns2/" target="_blank">here</a> in the meantime. Substract 1 from the port it lists there and connect from console (if it's 27016, you have to put 27015).

    I tried this on a couple servers and it just says couldn't establish a connection. yes I subtracted 1 from the port too.

    is there a way to paste text into the console? CTRL+V doesn't work

    try the IP without the last 5 digits after the colon. just the first 4 sets of 3 numbers.

    Just alt tab and let it sit for a few minutes, it should fix itself.

    This typically works for me although hitting "refresh" or joining a server and receiving the "full" error message resets the problem, meaning I have to close NS2 and wait.

    For what it's worth this problem is with Steam, not Unknown Worlds. Team Fortress 2 does this for me all the time as well.

    Appears to be a mess up on steams side I think. When I get this problem my NS2 also refuses to sync when I open it.
