Way to swap between marines and Aliens for Solo Games

To suss the game out, I understand you can type "cheats 1" in the console. This way you can practice comming.

It would be great if you could swap to the other side having done some comming without ending the game.

Is this already possible?

If cheats 1 is activated, you can switch to the other team either through the ready room or by typing "switch" in the console(when you're not in the hive or command station). Neither of those options will end the game.

F1: Join Marines
F2: Join aliens
F3: Roin Random
F4: Get back to Readyroom

Besides F4, those controls only work with the Menu Mod.

False. l have no mods installed and i can F4 for rr in the latest patch.

That's what I said. F1-3 are the ones that bind with the menu mod.

Please note that you can't switch between the sides directly. That is, if you an alien and you want to switch to marines, you can't do F1 (or j1 in console). You have to go to the readyroom first (i.e. F4 then F1 or rr then j1 in console).

With cheats 1 enabled. The behavior you're quoting doesn't concern cheats 1.
