Not to be a stick in the mud. But gameservers wont be able to run a good server with the unfinished game. I myself rent threw www.ns2servers.com , they have been running ns2 servers for a long time now and understand everything this games needs in a server. If you're not to set on you're provider id go with them :) We rent a whole box from them also.

There are essentially two ways to admin a server currently.

1. Default Webadmin
- Requires: Enabling the webadmin interface (see 'Web Administration' on the server wiki page)

Everything should be pretty self-explanatory once you set it up. However, you might want to check out the console commands page since many admin workarounds requires passing a command to the server console.

2. Player's GmOvrmind admin mod
- Requires: Installing and running the GmOvrmind mod

The GmOvrmind thread contains most of the info you need (though some of it is buried in later posts), though if you're running into trouble, just make a post in the thread and we can help. In general, if you have the user config file setup properly, it should log you in automatically when you join a server. Also, the only OM command you need to memorize is om_help, because when you type that into the console, it will display all the OM commands and their syntax available to you.

Also, as Jucci mentioned, its unlikely that gameservers has servers with the hardware required to run the beta at the current 16-18 playercount of most of the servers. At the most, I would only set the max playercount at 10-12.

Ran a server for a while off of Hypernia. They do single server rentals and honestly the performance was pretty good. Not the best, but not bad for the price of 23 USD\mo. Having seen ns2servers though I think I'll be going that route once There's enough players to actually fill said servers.
