This is good advice, since RFK was removed. It cost you nothing to get that unit and the marines will gain nothing from killing it. It's okay to be suicidal if you think you can thin out the marine group or slow their momentum a little in doing so. But any newbs who may be reading this, don't take this advice as license to run in straight lines at marines while holding mouse1. Always try to get the ambush. If you have to engage, use the environment and run up walls and ceilings to close the distance and try to keep behind marines whenever possible.
1. Pay attention to angles as marines. Standing next to a corner so a skulk can just pop over and bite your face off is bad. Get angles that give you the longest line of sight on the anticipated enemy approach line. Every bullet into a skulk counts.
2. Jump. As marines, jump on rails, jump on boxes, jump around, jump around. Getting off the floor is less chance a skulk bites you and makes you a harder target to track.
3. I'm not good enough at the alien team to offer any advice on it, so uhh, onos rush always. Gorges go play combat medic too. Yeah.
4. As Marines, make sure you are listening to heavy metal while you play. This sharpens your killer instinct and turns you into a xenos hunting nightmare.
