ARC and Rifle Rate-Of-Fire?

using decode + subdirectory search, i was not able to find these values (or the firedelay as in 1/ROF).
there is a variable called "kARCFireDelay = 3" but it is not used (no matches in any other file) so i guess this is hardcoded somewhere.

according to the ns2 wiki, rifle fire-delay is 0.0555 whereas the ARC firedelay is indeed 3 seconds. but i've never seen an arc fire this fast...

i guess because the animation and the actual point-of-fireing are supposed to sync up.

I remember editing doom2 weapons firing speeds by changing the time between animations with a executable editor named Dehacked. Just getting back to basics with ns2 :)

Ok wow that really dates me.

It should be quite easily moddable anyway as you should be able to edit the animation speed relatively easily, I would have thought?

I'm sure they added something for playing with animation speeds in one of the editing tools a little while back.

ARC firedelay is 10 according to Flayra.

yes, you can open viewer, load the specific anim graph, change values and save the anim graph :)

Viewer, that's it. I need to learn the names of the NS2 tools.
