Map Format

<div class="IPBDescription">I would like to know how maps are formatted.</div>I want to work on some extra tools that make use of the .level the map format, but I cant find clear documentation on it on any NS2 sites. Also, .obj wont cut it. :P

Does it exist?

    There's no documentation for this. The maps are in binary format, it's not very hard to reverse engineer. I'm not a real programmer and I managed to make a small program independently to re-align vertices to the grid to solve a rounding problem with the editor...

    If you want examples, Onos Ate Me manipulated part of the .level files in his <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=115410" target="_blank">Radiance mod</a>, he published the source code, so you may be able to take a look.
