Bring back electricute for just the command chair?

I was thinking it could be an expensive <i>(75 - 100 energy)</i> ability, but could let you save a command chair without the need for bringing all the marines back to base with a distress beacon

Also how does distress beacon work?

I used it yesterday and the marines all got ported back to the start of the map instead of the room that the beacon was in

There is already the nanoshield, no need to make structures without offensive capabilities actually damage players. Attacking a command Station is a valid tactic and shouldn't be countered by a local active defence on the structure itself. It should be countered by player awareness. The nanoshield will help delay the damage done to the structure, which allows marines to either traverse the distance back, use the PG or use the Beacon in an emergency.


Beacon teleports all players on the map (and players in the spawn queue) to the nearest Command Station. So if you only have one Command Station it will teleport your team to your main base, regardless of where your Obs is.

I have attempted to Nano-shield the command chair numerous times, (with plenty of energy to do so) but it seems to not work unless there is another chair to draw energy from.
