Also My commanding strategy now consists of killing the alien hive before they get Augmentation, instead of killing the alien hive before they get a second hive. Because Augmentation occurs 6-8 minutes into the game, this happens earlier than getting a second hive in previous builds. An alien team can have 2 hives and augmentation 8 minutes into game unless forced to build defenses.

Limiting the alien resource tower building doesn't stop the aliens from all lerk-rushing the base.

Still, the build looks like it could work if bilebomb is sorted out.

    /my 2 cents

Agreed, this build doesn't seem to have sorted out any balance issues. It has instead made them worse.

Bile bomb isn't really that overpowered... because it is the only thing the aliens have at their disposal to end a marine turtle game.

I just played in a pub... team stacking aliens with a bunch of ENSL and competitive players (I know were jerks). The maines were in sub and we had nests of crags on both sides of marine spawn.

We couldnt end the game with fades and onos because we would run into their spawn and lose HP so fast. So I told the entire team to go lerk and fly from crag nest to crag nest bile bombing their base... even with 7 lerks flying around we couldn't end the game fast enough. It dragged on for a few more minutes until the game ended in the server crashing and everyone getting a strange error message upon crash. GG.

By the way this build DOES address many balance issues. It has slowed alien expansion down quite a bit... which was one of the main reasons the marines were getting dominated in older builds. You just need to play on a better marine team next time.

So you teamstacked and couldn't win even with lerks.

Credibility floodin' out the yin-yang here, folks

Hah, that's where your story already fell apart, nobody from ENSL plays this ######.

Correction: We were about to win but the game crashed. Also I forgot to mention that our spawn was bugged and I lost my first RT... which set us back a lot because I already bought carapace when the RT died. So we had 0 rt's until i could buy 1... and couldnt afford another for a few minutes. We didnt have a 2nd hive till about 10-14 mins into the game. Like I said we had good players on my team otherwise we would have been stomped. The marines lost because they decided to turtle in base with their upgrades and turrets. It's supposed to be hard to beat marine turtles quickly. Play the game more?

But did you notice how we had to use teamwork and coordination to win (crash)? Yeah... that is why I believe the balancing is well on it's way.
