Looks nice. Altough I got a small negative remark. About staying true to the name of the room. Your furniture looks more like an office then a messhall. I always a imagine a messhall with seats on opposing sides of the tables. So I would change the corner table with a larger table in the middle with two rows of seating.
But that's just me, if you forget that it looks like an awesome tribute to the NS1 version.

I like how your map is coming along, it looks like you're putting lots of work into it, keep up the good job. My only gripe is that the specular in some of your screenshots is a bit strong, you can turn off the specular on the lights, so the metal doesn't have so much distracting glare.
The last few weeks I have more Diablo 3, Dota 2 Dayz and played as the map to work. I know that many allude to my map in the alpha times. So I will now work more closely involved in Greybox ermöglichken to do this.
By the way I entschludige me for the very poor English ... it comes from Google Translator;)).
That looks amazing, nice work! Looking at post #47 pic 2 really reminded me on good old Half-Life :D
But I have one question for the room in #48 pic 1: The original room had ladders that lead out of the circular pit if I recall it correctly. Will you add ladders or do you think you have to change the original design and add stairs/ramps? Since aliens can't use ladders anymore mapping became more complicated...
Edit: on second thoughts, the Gorge has clogs and the Onos might not fit into it anyways ;)
Sentinel, I am happy whenever I do something about by another mapper hear my map.
The pit that you were ansprichst I modified so that it has such a death in Summit = ventilation zone in the lower part of the pit. I think the transition reichts perfect.

It is known and it is the single most annoying problem in history. I hope Max can fix it soon
Now I am reassured. At first I thought it was because I had made an error.
