Balancing random start positions with welding vents

which could occur on some maps. A few server already run a mod which forces fixed start positions.
for example marines getting a spawn with several vents or aliens without vents.
If vents, or a few vents, are weldable (closed via welding), marines could secure their spawn from
inbase vents and stoping aliens infiltrating their base so easily.
I also would like if Gorges, which don't have so much to do at the moment (changed soon),
being able to re-open welded vents to create an other strategical option and more complexity.
Your thoughts on this?

The problem is that summit and tram were not made with random spawns in mind and need some major rework to be balanced. Thats why they work better with static spawn.
Edit:
Also forcing marines to buy welders in the beginning slows them down alot, 10tres of 50 starting tres.
