<b>DESCIPTION :</b>
ComMan Comunity Manager is a tool to download and upload thrid party products of your applications and games. It is UWE BaseCamp project.
It is codded in C++ Builder for Windows. MySQL is used as a database and zipped project files can be transfered by FTP.

It is something like Skyrim nexus mod manager but will be much more usefull. So community can safely download/upload their own maps mods etc. into the database.
You can upload and download, enable or disable some of them. So it Manages All Community Uploads safely in to NS2 Directory.
That may help to make game much more popular.

At first I tought NS2 needs a tool something like that, later I tought it can be used for NS1 also. Now It is an applciation tool for all games and tools.
I hope it may be distributed by UWE like Zen of SUDOKU ...

    Argathor over at Duplex gaming already runs a very useful system like this for NS2 which most mod and map makers use anyway..

    Yes Man, I know that but this is an application not a web page, and probably it will be distrubuted by UWE installation. That was a dream when i build my first map with first release of Spark Editor.

    In this application authors can easily update their own zipped file packs, also this application can easily ftp, unzip (install), uninstall files. It is also something like a tool for Players and Authors to download and upload latest tools.

    May be it can be intagrated with database of duplex but probably UWE may have an official databse and web page for this.

    I just want to help Authors who are building maps, mods, textures but also who dont have a secure place to manage and integrate with players.

    Page is updated at the top.

    There are some new additions here which all those regarding about maps,mods etc. I hope this will be a good tool for all of you.

    I wrote a bit of code recently to read out the duplexgaming map database. the ui is just a nonfunctional mock-up and without graphics, but it partially does something.

    This thing was meant mainly as a map downloader and updater, but mods could surely also be downloadable. Additionally, bindings for lua should be doable, so that maps could be downloaded and updated from inside the game itself (if the game doesn't get surprised if data changes while it's running).

    Extra plus is, I'm writing this with C++ and Qt, so it would work on linux servers, too. As soon as the game gets automatic download, it would mainly be interesting for server admins anyway.

    Map sources can somewhat easily be replaced (for instance for an "official" UWE database or something xml/json/... based) and functionality for uploads of maps and up- and downloading for mods can be added.

    There isn't much there yet. Attached is a screenshot of the not-filled UI and the console output enumerates the maps found on duplexgaming.

    Surely we could cooperate on this?

    Normaly 07 May was my release date in BaseCamp due date. Normaly it is done but it needs testing and some fixes I need a time.

    This week there had been many conferences here. Now I'm in Eskisehir City and tomorrow I'm going to go to a Business Metting in Istanbul, later I will be in another Meeting in Ankara for 3 days. That means I can only test at the week end .

    So next Monday GET READYYY !!!
