Excellent news. Always nice to have a chance to join in. :)
EDIT: I've submitted my application. Now (a few moments later), I suddenly remember that I forgot to mention a few things. Is it possible to edit it, or perhaps send additional info somewhere?

We have organized playtests virtually every day that go on for hours. They will not be limited to Fridays, however Friday will be the map testing day, and the new hires will need to be available to test maps then and throughout the week.

Yes indeed. Specifically to help test maps for both public and competitive play, though not limited to that. We have a number of maps that need LOTS of testing and good gameplay feedback.
Thanks to all who have applied so far, we'll be reviewing them fully next week once applications have closed.
Well, applied for heck of it. Aware that I haven't really contributed on the forums even though I've had the game for ages.
And unemployed&in wrong UAS studying for wrong career really does give me some free time. Practicly only thing I need to do is sleep, and even that can be moved to another day. :p
Guys, please try to be as thorough as possible when you're filling out these applications. Going back and reading the same application twice with a correction of a mispelled word is not fun. We will ignore duplicate entries, so please make it count!
Keep in mind that we won't be sending off the invitations until after the application period has ended, we want to make sure we give everyone an equal opportunity at being a playtester, but we need the right, dedicated, hard-working people who don't mind taking directions from others. It's an extremely fun job as much as it is rewarding, but it's not an easy job!

I'm hoping you're only referring to duplicate entries since this announcement was made, as I have submitted myself for the PT group a number of times over the past year.

I know what GMT and CET are but, what the freak is PDT? Please, use a world wide notation.
Wish it was clarified as to what was sought after initially. I will resubmit an application with more in depth information. It was my impression that it was to be a short, concise application.

To both of you, they just stated they won't look at double applications. It's no use.

Sorry for the confusion. Only the first application you sent in will be looked at, duplicate entries will be ignored. We've gotten over a hundred entries so far, keep them coming!
And we're closed :-) Thanks to all who applied. We'll be going over the applicants over the next week and we'll let those who are successful know via email. Cheers!
All applications have been sent out, if people decline for whatever reason we will send out more applications. We only took on a few people this time so we were not overwhelmed, but when we next hire we will look at those who applied during this recruiting round first. Thanks!

I suppose you'll most likely want people with tons of spare time and not just 1-2 evenings a week ;)
Good luck everyone.
Good luck to those applying, playtesting NS back in the day was a blast.

Also for more detailed explanation Google does wonders. :s
