Hey everyone,
i would like to purchase the beta of NS2. I'm just a bit confused about the sentence below the order form. What does "Reasonably powerful PC" mean? Will I be able to play at least a bit with low resolution?
My system:
Macbook Pro early 2008
2,4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB
Come on...its not that bad, or is it?

30-35 non combat
below 20 any combat
rough estimate, could be worse or better.
I might even go as far as saying you'd get lower FPS as TRC said in some cases due to the 2.4Ghz CPU. I've got a C2D E6420 running at 3.2Ghz. My guess what you've got is the C2D E6600 judging from the clock speed. when I run it on 2.1 or even 2.4Ghz I get around 15FPS in combat and less then 25 in normal circumstances... copypasting my patented notepad file with FPS related to my system and you system seems quite similar :)
