Land Mine Bug(s)

<div class="IPBDescription">kerblooie!</div> Not sure if these have been reported yet, but I've noticed two problems with landmines.

1. Placing a large number of them will eventually cause the server to crash. (I.E. You use them as much as they apparently need to be used to be useful)

2. Placing them on a diagonal surface will cause them to detonate right as they arm. For instance, placing mines on the wall sections of ns_eclipse between areas.

If I remember well, in the manual they say that they must be fully placed on something ( not only partially ) and have proprer room for the beam to «deploy», ortherwise they blow up. Not sure though, I'll go check.

    *after checking manual*.

quoting manual : <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->An improperly placed mine (only half gripping a surface, no room for laser to deploy, etc.) may explode moments after release, injuring nearby marines.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I hope this will help !

Not quite. They are FULLY deployed on the surface, and clearly so. But they explode as soon as they arm. I've noticed that they also do this when you try to place them on the ceiling.
