OP is very right about this issue, and I have wrote about it earlier, it resulted in a small nerf from 200 to 150hp repeared/sec. Which is still waaay too powerful. A MAC should build slower than marines(they already do! great job there!). They should repair slower than a marine welding, and definitely slower than a single skulk can do damage. (OH WAIT! Something wrong here.) Micromanaging the MACs to repair stuff while the aliens are attacking is really powerful. Try making the MACs automaticly repair eachother, and you will see how powerful the repair rate really is. You will be unable to kill them as soon as there are more than one. That's the current micromanage potential they have, which is definitely too powerful(unkillable, except for bilebomb).
I think that the fact that MACs get 2 shot at melee range and maybe 3-4 shot at distance (even by gorge spit) nullifies any notion that they are OP. Especially now that gorges can bile them from across the room and hit a group of MACs and then run away and grab the triplekill.
