Egg problems

1. Hatch from the Shift appears to give the same "waiting to respawn" bug that was in the previous builds. what happens is, upon trying to respawn, you'll first get a long wait. the hatch will complete, respawn in one of those eggs, die, and be locked out of spawning indefinitely. Also, the wait to spawn as a "hatched" egg is long enough to cause a dead gorge's hydras to die before being able to evolve into a gorge again.

2. commander making eggs into lifeforms. a mechanic should be put in place to either A. let players opt out of spawning as certain lifeforms or B. implement something like a 10 second timer after spawning as a lifeform to refund the cost to the commander if the player changes into a different lifeform.

    Have to agree with you on both points.

    1) Not sure why hydras were made to automatically start dying when you die, as the wavespawn timer is not in your control. Evolve time should still count though, so basically start hurting the hydra as soon as you spawn. I'll confirm if this is intended or not before i report it

    2) The devs are aware of this

    Another thing to add to this is the egg spawn on shift can spawn the eggs in walls, on tech points, on rts and pretty much everywhere you wouldnt want an egg to spawn.

    surey such a mechanic allready exists?? you can evolve hper mutation and evolve back to skulk/fade

    so the players have to take extra steps to undo idiotic griefing done by their commander?

    Yeah several people on my team had this last night, including myself. We were 'waiting to respawn', but never happened.
