Or perhaps as people are talking about it not even being a weapon but some sort of upgrade style thing:

To be honest all this talk of improving weapons I think id love to see some sort of module attachement system for weapons not only rifle but shotguns, flamethrowers...etc giving them differant abilites. Could be very interesting :D (think modules like in Homeworld 2...but not that enormus :P )
I wouldn't mind a grapple gun that would raise me to the ceiling. Like this <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3F0YefAQLA" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3F0YefAQLA</a> Hiding from an onos comes to mind or chasing a skulk thats hiding in a high vent. Also really like that auto reload idea when rifle butting.

Or
Automatic reload unit. You can still riflebutt skulks while the rifle is busy reloading; or you can use your pistol while the rifle is reloading.
Hiding from an onos comes to mind or chasing a skulk thats hiding in a high vent. Also really like that auto reload idea when rifle butting.
