Welders and more...

Instead of making several threads about different topics, i will consolidate my concerns/ideas here:
Welders:
IMO welding is too bright. It makes it very uncomfortable to weld. I really don't want to reduce the brightness of my screen just because of the welder. I hope the brightness can be reduced or perhaps a different effect can be used such as the hot red metal effect you get with bile bomb (minus all the green goo)
Alien Vision:
Is there a downside to not keeping alien vision on the whole game? What if using alien vision drains your adrenaline ever so slightly. Think cloaking time limit with the TF2 spy, but the adrenaline won't drain as severely.

(Unintended Stargate reference...)
Or making it like a nightvision which makes it unpractical in bright areas.
This is already implemented.
+ You lose hive sight when having AV on.
Aliens are Aliens and not Human beings, they of courese, should have advanced senses.
Marine flashlights actually do have a downside.
1. It makes nearby aliens aware of your presence if they do not directly see you. As in from around a corner.
2. If your teammates have atmospheric effects activated, you blind them if you shine a light across their vision.
