People are doing it all over the servers already. Could we get a hotfix please? :/

And now other server admins know about it too, so they can ban those people instead of wondering what the hell is wrong with their server.

https://getsatisfaction.com/unknownworlds or email one of the devs, but spreading awareness and then complaining that you're seeing it on the pubs is just downright stupid.
Again they wont hotfix it.
So congrats, you've clearly outsmarted the dev's and forced their hand. I'm sure they're going to drop everything their doing to hotfix it and we'll all see this fixed immediately.
edit: one of the mods should really delete this thread -_-
Expecting the devs to do anything because of something any of us does is pretty foolish. Expecting anyone to playtest "clicking the welder on the mine" before a release is even more foolish..
That's not how you report huge bugs // exploits.
Again: It has been widely known already. Except by admins who can now ban the griefers.
And players who can now report griefers to the admins.

Your post is the problem. I didn't know about this and had never seen it in game until reading about your post now. YOU just spread the exploit around to everyone.
If you want to inform the admins, then inform the admins. You just informed the entire public.

This one thread has a pretty good chance of completely ruining pubs until b211 comes out. Given that you don't even play the game, I can understand why you wouldn't care about this.
Hey I tried to log in and play today but my i7 system couldn't keep stable fps in the ready room with 3 people so it wasn't doing it for me, alright?
I really think you're overestimating how many evil griefer kids are browsing the forums right now. This game is still really small. I bet there are less of them than people capable of closing the thread.
And probably even after that, seeing how such a bug made it through playtesting.
He didn't do that. Do you know who did?
"Everyone" was already knowing & doing it.
No. They weren't.
Are they now? I need answers, people!
Thankfully, most people who play NS2 aren't on the forums, so I see little damage done.
Security though obscurity? That never worked.
Despite, people eventually find out or see other people doing it (like the map exploits - renember the hole you could jp/lerk though on summit? :P). At least people now know what's going on including admins.
Theres a good chance that they won't dare to do it now anymore, with admins aware and the danger of insta-ban.
Cheers!
Made me lol, but hinted at the exploit so going to edit it out. Sorry Argathor! Closing the topic as well now. - Hugh
