How bout we call them...
Someone was talking about Infestation Spikes and I got it confused with lerk spikes and I looked dumb (-). Is that what they are called really? We should call them something else.
Also, Do they cause damage if a marine is standing there when deployed?

And no, they don't hurt marines. Nor do they deny arcs since they just roll over them, so its just a spammable un-kill-able negative un-counter-able ability for the alien comm to frustrate marines.

No? ..... no?
I am by no means any PhD in psychology, but from what I've learned through life and by the classes taken in this field, I've noticed that sometimes the dangerous or forbidden can make many humans curios or excited, sometimes even aroused. This answer is something like this for me. If I ask you to develop what a hell you are talking about, I am afraid that your answer will just as thrilling as I know I´m scared of what will come.
lol, what are you guys crazy? Krovakon makes sense. "Like a scan" in that it is a "spammable un-kill-able negative un-counter-able ability" - as Scrajm said above.
However, observatory scans don't physically interact with players by blocking movement or attacks. Which may sound like a simple difference, but I think its pretty huge. This is really the first ability that any Comm/Khamm has had that's an instant interaction with the opposing team isn't it?
