Battlefield 1942 Video Card Issues

<div class="IPBDescription">help! =/</div> Well i wanna buy Battlefield 1942 but i dunno if the game will work with my videocard. I have a NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 pro.
On system requirements of bf1942 it says a 32mb videocard with HW&TL..... The TNT2 is 32mb, but wtf is HW&TL???.
I have all this doubts because i dled the demo and when i tryed to play it, everything was black & white D= and i dont wanna spend all the money i have on the game, and then finding out my videocard cant afford it =P

    I <b>think</b> is something to do with HardWare Texture and Lighting.
    I.E does you video card support those fancy lighting effects we all get sick off
    after 10 minutes.
    I'd say go to a Computer Fair and pick up a nice cheap GeForce 2 or 3
    I got my GeForce 4 mx 440 bundled with an SB Live 5.1 for just over £100 5/6 months ago.

    Im privy to some information since im a regular ea/westwood playtester and they fixed all the pertinent graffic card problems it wont be too much of a problem as it was with the demo but theese issues have been resolved. Of course having a GeForce 4 mx would make it really nice but you can play with that TNT2. Allthough there is another consideration, to play the campiang with mpre bots its better to have a upper end system or else it will lllLLLLllllaaaaGGggggGG!!!11 but appart form that it will work and if it doesnt return it for a rebate and get a new card but it should work.

    i'm not sure if the tnt2 has hardware T&L i know the geforce cards have it and most if not all modern cards have it
