Since we're all gamers here, we should be pretty fast! I've tried it myself and got the following score on 5 tries:
<strike>45. Angelusz just seconds ago 5 198.6</strike>
44. Angelusz just seconds ago 20 196.1
Post your own results and lets see who's fastest AND dominate the charts on that test! :)
Hall of Fame (Top 5 scores):
1. Jaweese - 175
2. Raza - 183.2
3. Kouji-San - 193
4. Temphage - 194.4
5. Angelusz - 196.1
FYI: The average human response time ranges from 150ms to 300ms, with the top of the bell curve at <b>215ms</b>.

Keep in mind there are monitors with severe input lag, which can skew the results quite a bit, just like your clicking technique and the sensitivity of your mouse button, which can decrease with the age of your mouse.

PS: lol at all the azns with the 100ms reactions.
After I've warmed up.
:/
Now: around 230ms.
late evening: around 220ms
^standard x5 result -edit
Yes, this can be trained.
My best try was 3 ms, I dare anyone to beat that. :D

A click of 3ms means that you started clicking before the square went green. Things like that do mess up your results and would normally be eliminated in a statistical analysis. :)
Yeah, yeah I know that, in fact I never even got to see that green square.
But it says on the site that anything below 100 ms doesn't count anyway. ;)
I'm 25 as well, 196 on a crappy computer. Hoping to get <strike>more</strike> <b>less</b> <sub><!--coloro:lightblue--><span style="color:lightblue"><!--/coloro-->(thank you kouji ;) )<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></sub> on my game pc!
Don't ya mean less <img src="http://members.home.nl/m.borgman/ns-forum/smileys/youreallwrong.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />
Reaction time isn't something you can improve upon - WAIT FOR IT - you can practice, and train your brain, but in the end you're born with a certain reaction time and you're stuck with it. (I can't find the wiki for it, but I remember reading it somewhere. ._.)
Therefore, I don't see why anyone would shy away from showing their sh*tty scores.
My average is 244 - worse than most. I've known my reaction time is cr*p since I was 15 years old, yet I've always fared well in FPS games simply because of how much I play. The more you play the more your jedi skills (you learn to anticipate lol) improve, lessening the impact of reaction time.
Then again, I've never had to rely on my reactions much in most games. I've always made up for it with strategy, reading my opponent(s) and mindgames :D
One thing that did occur to me though is that your mouse might improve/handicap your score a bit. The one I'm using right now is a replacement for my usual and it's got a decent bit of travel time. Not that it really matters though :P
EDIT: 45. Angelusz just seconds ago 5 198.6
EDIT2: Since I like the idea of it (and to keep this thread clean) I've made a new thread in offtopic, to play around with this test: <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=119336" target="_blank">over here!</a>

As for on-topic. Weezl, I know your pain. I dare even say that everyone that currently plays NS2 does. Its been said often before, and I can understand if you get tired reading it, but you'll have to wait for UWE to get to the polishing part. Better yet, a great deal of their current time is spent on this. There's quite a list of bugs that need to be fixed and the performance issues are known. UWE has the fullest intention to solve every problem you list in this thread. They just need time.
Don't worry, it won't end up being a game with messy controls, latency issues and a load of bugs. Upon release, they intend to have it running like a charm. Just give it time.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Nope!
I managed to get it down to about 250 earlier when I went for 20 samples, but then right near the end I got distracted or something and got a 400ms and 500ms click, which ruined my average and brought me back up to 280.
Then again I'm using a laptop touchpad...
That's not measuring reaction time, but sure, you can dupe the test and then brag to all your internet friends how l33t you are. You can do that. Nobody's going to stop you. But also nobody's going to care, so I'm pretty sure it achieves nothing.
Having said that, you have to do it 5 times in a row and if you stuff it up once it takes significantly longer for the square to turn green, so for a really simple web tool it's actually pretty good.
Damn, and I thought I was sub 150 for sure. I remember doing this kinda thing with some flash a dozen years ago.
