Crash a few seconds after startup

<div class="IPBDescription">Fatal Error w/ log.txt</div>New build -- fresh installs of Windows 7 // Steam // NS2
Integrity checked, etc.

Upon loading the game, the menu comes up and is fully functional, the twitter feed starts, and then about 1 or 2 seconds later, NS2 crashes with a fatal error.

The log.txt reads this every single time:

Other than that, there are no other error codes.

I was able to find one other other person with this same exact problem, but it was because they had steam workshop on with downloads in the background, and I don't use or have either.

Any suggestions?
Are there are launch options I can use to reset all the settings?

I'm all out of ideas....!

Unsubscribe to NS2 Eclipse Beta in the steam workshop.

I had the same problem and had to unsubscribe from everything in the steam workshop.

When you have the bug report, clic on the "log" in the things sent to UWE, then "open" on the right. Look at the bottom of the text and look which map made your game crash :) You don't need to unsubscibr to everything, just the file concerned about the crash. Happened to me for 2 maps other than eclipse. It may be random then :S

Deleting NS_Eclipse (was the only map there) from my subscriptions worked brilliantly!

Now on another note, why does it automatically subscribe you to the map beta? I find that strange.
