Constant Crashing when launching the game

I've been able to run ns2 fine up until this version, on Medium settings, but after trying to play this version, I haven't been able to get past the main menu. Once there, I have around 5 seconds until the game freezes.

I have used this 5 seconds trying to change every setting 1 by one (a pain in the ass considering I only have 5 seconds to do this ;)) with no luck. I have even tried to do a reinstall and updated my drivers, but both those actions have had no effect.

Processor : Intel® Core™ 2 Duo CPU E8200 @ 2.66
RAM : 2.00GB
GPU processor: 1023mb GDDR5 GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Driver version: 301.42

I know my system doesn't appear great but I have been playing ns2 for ages and it has run fine for me up till now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Go to the steam workshop and unsubscribe from all of the mods.
After that your game should work again.
